STAFFORD

Lestus James Stafford, 65, passed away Sunday, Dec. 30, 2012, at Baton Rouge General Hospital. A resident of Pine, he was born Oct. 25, 1947.

He is survived by his brothers, Leslie Stafford, Gaston Delcambre, Donald Seals, Dewayne Seals, Jonathan Seals and Micheal Seals; and his sisters, Bonnie Yates, Mary Jenkins, Brenda Seals, Donna Seals, Kathy Seals and Lather Seals.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Catherine Stafford; brothers, Hershel Stafford, Herbert Stafford, Gene Stafford. Sister Dessie Miley.

Visitation was held Wednesday, Jan. 3 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until 7 p.m., and continued on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial followed in the New Gerald Cemetery at Pine.
