Demorace Pigott

The sweet Angel of Mercy moved in quietly on Wednesday, Nov. 4, 2015, and bore the spirit of Demorace Pigott, at The Lakeview Regional Medical Center in Covington.

She leaves to rejoice in countless beautiful memories a loving, devoting husband, Tyrone Pigott of Bogalusa; three sons, Jeremy Butler of Atlanta, Ga., Tyrone Pigott Jr. of Mandeville, and Ladaris Sibley of Houma; two daughters, Adonia McBride of California and Taja Pigott of Baton Rouge; her mother, Sis. Ernestine Butler of Bogalusa; three sisters, Burnett (Rev. John W. Sr.) Johnson of Jonesboro, Ga., Enotris Rena (Gary) Westgate of Orlando, Fla., and Arnetta Butler of River Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Esco Q. Butler; a brother, Timothy Butler; and a baby daughter.

Visitation will be held Friday, Nov. 13, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. followed by family hour from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The funeral service will held on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 11 a.m. at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, with the Rev. John Wesley Johnson officiating.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa is in charge of arrangements.

In lieu of flowers, her family respectfully requests that you consider a donation to The American Cancer Society.

Repast will be held at Tree of Life Baptist Church of Bogalusa.
