Bogalusa’s Clydeterrious Thompson was fifth in his event at the Class 3A state meet that took place Saturday at LSU’s Bernie Moore Stadium.
The freshman came in fifth place in the 400-meter run. Thompson ran the event in 51.95 seconds.
West Feliciana’s Darius Davis was the champion after running a 47.08. Wossman’s Jerome Dennis was second at 49.30 and Lutcher’s Robert Weathersby was third in 49.79.
