Demons win district game over Lakeshore

Franklinton’s Nate Bracey and Jared Jenkins had solid days at the plate and on the mound in a 5-3 District 8-4A victory over Lakeshore on the road Thursday.
Winning pitcher Bracey threw six innings, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits with a strikeout, four walks and two hit batters.
Offensively, Bracey singled twice in four at-bats and scored a run.
Jenkins picked up the save with a shutout inning and he walked two batters.
Jenkins went 3-for-3 at the plate with a sacrifice bunt, a run scored and a stolen base.
J.P. Magee and Landon Keller posted a hit and an RBI each. Magee doubled and Keller also stole a base.
Wyatt Verret walked, got hit, recorded a sacrifice fly and scored a run.
Richard Berry scored a run and got hit by a pitch.
Jordan McKenzie walked and scored a run.
Courtesy runner Garrett Maxwell stole three bases for the Demons.
