Sunday, April 15, is a special day in Bogalusa, as Little League Baseball gets underway at the Avenue U Ballpark.

It is a day that will feature opening ceremonies beginning at 2 p.m. and games starting immediately following the ceremonies. The event had been originally scheduled for Saturday, but was pushed back a day due to the threat of rainy weather.

This is a perfect opportunity to get out and support the youth of Bogalusa as the local baseball teams take the field to begin the 2018 season.
