Annette Davis departed this life on Aug. 24, 2019. She was born in Angie on Oct. 13, 1956.
Annette was blessed with unwavering love for family, friends and coworkers. She loved making others happy, she had a soul for giving and loved encouraging others, which always made her smile.
She loved to travel, she was kind, funny, and most importantly gracious. She had the ability to light up the room with her one-of-kind smile, spirit and attire.
She adored her two sons, and through the years aligned another son, Jerome Boyce, into the family. The light of her life was her grandbabies — there was nothing she wouldn’t do for her grandchildren, especially during their birthdays and holidays.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Woodrow Peters and Minnie Peters; sisters, Barbara Peters, Doris Peters Daniels and Ruth Pressley; and brothers, Oscar Peters, Charles Peters and Ralph Peters.
She leaves behind her sons and family to cherish her memory: Chaveze Davis of Tulsa, Okla., Sergeant First Class Cartez (Cinnamon) Davis of Wilkes Barre, Pa., and Jerome Boyce of Tulsa; siblings, Deacon James (Jimmie) Harry of New Orleans and Lady Evangelist Carolyn Jackson of San Francisco, Calif.; grandchildren, Chaveze Davis Jr., Ivory Jade Smith, Calynn Davis, Cartez Davis Jr. and Caden Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and St. Andrews Baptist Church.
Her funeral service will be held at St. Andrews Baptist Church, located at 3115 N. Garrison Ave. in Tulsa, on Saturday, Sept. 7, starting at 11 a.m.
Butler-Stumpff & Dyer Funeral Home of Tulsa is in charge of arrangements.
