Bucs victorious over Amite School Center

Bowling Green School’s Buccaneers were victorious over Amite School Center, 50-0, in a road game Friday.
“The offense has not been clicking on all cylinders and we finally got it going in a game. Defense keeps on playing consistent and relentless,” Bowling Green coach Riley Boudreaux said.
Rashaan Duke went 6-for-8 passing for 114 yards. He was also the team’s leading rusher with 146 yards on seven carries and two touchdowns.
Narada McGill threw for 24 yards and a score. He also rushed for 67 yards on three carries and a touchdown.
Jekorvian Long had 116 yards on five carries and a pair of touchdowns.
Wayne Ray had 35 yards on four attempts.
Steven Cooper led the receivers with six receptions for 122 yards and a touchdown.
Braxton Brock made two catches for 9 yards and Nathan Jenkins had a reception for 7 yards.
Jackson Dobraska led the defense with 8.5 tackles.
Kengie Gordon, Cameron Brock, Crockett Comeaux and Jacob Devall all had three tackle. Brock forded a fumble and Devall had a tackle.
Hunter Wilkinson, Emmanuel Powell, Denzel Evans, Cade Morere and Ethan Brock all posted two tackle.
Jonathon Saverese and Tony Downs had a tackle each. Downs defended a pass.
Brayden Edwards recovered a fumble and defended a pass while Matthew Downs recorded a pass defensed.
The Buccaneers are 3-0 this season.
Bowling Green will be back on the road Friday, as the Buccaneers face Columbia Academy in the District 4A3 opener.
Columbia is 1-2 this season, after a 44-42 victory over Brookhaven Academy last week.
