Mt. Hermon School opened District 8-B play with a 54-46 win over Runnels at home Tuesday.
Tevin Williams paced Mt. Hermon with 18 points.
Michquel Spears recorded 11 points. He made two 3-pointers.
Keondre Bunch tallied 10 points.
Tristan Brumfield scored nine points, while Lafell Thomas posted six points in the win.
Mt. Hermon will be back in action on Saturday, Jan. 18, against Patrick Taylor Science and Technology at home.
