Mr. Leon B. Norman, 82, of Foxworth, Miss., was called Home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025.
Mr. Norman was born Oct. 23, 1942 in Bogalusa. He was a retired power plant operator with the Bogalusa Papermill, a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, and a veteran of the United States Army.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Howard Leon and Dollie Holden Norman; two sons, Louis Mayfield and Troy Mayfield, and three brothers, Francis “Boots” Norman, Joe Norman, and Jessie Norman.
Left to cherish his wonderful memories are his devoted and loving wife of 44 years, Patricia Blount Norman; two children, Sharon Mayfied, Sean Jones and his wife, Debbie; four siblings, Wilda (Harold) Thompson, Glenda (Larry) Ikerd, Bill (the late Linda) Norman, and Anna (Roger) Moravitz.
Also surviving are a host of adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Services to Celebrate the Life of Leon will be held at Poole Ritchie Funeral Home (216 Alabama Avenue, Bogalusa, LA 70427) on Monday, Feb. 10, 2025 at 11 a.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
