Borlis Wilson

Borlis Wilson was born Dec. 8, 1964 at Charity Hospital in Bogalusa, La. to Bernice Spikes. He departed his early life at Lakeview Hospital in Mandeville, La. on Tuesday, March 4, 2025.

Borlis is survived by his devoted niece, Cortney Forrest. Leaving behind to honor his memory are brothers, Anthony Wilson of Frankfort, Germany, Kerry Forrest of Bogalusa, La., Augustus Forrest of Kent, Wash. and Bernard Forrest of Bogalusa, La.; sisters, Nona (Paul) Forrest-Walker, Kimberly (Stanley) Forrest-Miller, Tonya Forrest of Seattle, Wash., Amy Forrest of Kent, Wash., and Angelle (Brandon) Forrest-Morris of Bogalusa, La. A host of nephews and nieces, family and special friends. 

Borlis is proceeded in death by his mother, Bernice Spikes-Forrest and brother, Timothy Wilson. 

Services will be on Saturday, March 15, 2025 as St. Paul AME Church in Bogalusa, La. with viewing from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and  funeral at 1 p.m.  Repast will be the B & C Hall, 139 Cumberland St., Bogalusa, La.
