ADAPT, Inc. is thrilled to announce it has been selected as a recipient of the esteemed Marguerite Redwine Community Action Award. This distinguished honor recognizes organizations that make significant contributions to addressing community needs, demonstrate social responsibility, engage actively in the community, and deliver innovative solutions to pressing social challenges.
The Marguerite Redwine Community Action Award recognizes the exceptional efforts and impact that ADAPT, Inc. has achieved throughout its more than 30 years of dedicated service. The award is part of the Marguerite Redwine Awards, presented annually by VIA LINK to honor outstanding organizations and individuals working tirelessly to improve lives within the Louisiana community. “We are deeply honored and humbled by this recognition,” said Rusty Fornea, Executive Director for ADAPT, Inc. “This award is a testament to the relentless dedication and passion of our team, volunteers, and community partners, who continuously strive to create meaningful change.”
ADAPT, Inc. has made profound strides in addressing the root causes of sexual violence, substance abuse, and problematic behaviors through targeted prevention, intervention, and post-intervention services. By empowering individuals and communities with essential knowledge and resources, ADAPT has positively impacted the lives of countless people in Washington Parish and beyond.
As a winner, ADAPT will be prominently featured in all event materials and advertisements distributed by Volunteers of America. The award will be formally presented at the Marguerite Redwine Awards Luncheon, scheduled for Thursday, June 5, 2024, at 11:30 AM at the Audubon Tea Room in New Orleans.
