Thelma Grace Rouse Brumfield

Thelma, age 91, passed away in Baton Rouge, La. on Sunday, April 6, 2025 of natural causes. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who is already dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Debra B Lala; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Thelma is preceded in death by her daughters, Rhonda B Rester, and Tracey B. Bracey; her son, Randall L Brumfield, and her grandson, Scott T Lala.

Per her wishes, there will be no funeral, but a private graveside service for immediate family will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025. Those who would like to make a donation in her memory may do so, to Scott’s Wish, Inc, 742 Millikens Bend, Covington, LA 70433.
