CROSSETT, AR – Jordin Temple, a 17-year-old junior at Crossett High School and daughter of Rush and Maranda Temple, continues to shine in Arkansas high school track and field.
At the State Meet on May 6, 2025, in Heber Springs, Jordin won first place in the Long Jump with a leap of 17.7 feet. She also earned second place in both the Triple Jump and the 100-Meter Hurdles, adding to her growing list of accomplishments. Last year, as a sophomore, she won the State Triple Jump title.
Jordin’s achievements echo a family tradition. Her grandfather, Robert Temple, a 1975 graduate of Bogalusa High School, helped his team win state in the 440 and 880 relays at LSU exactly 50 years ago.
“I’m so proud of her,” said Robert. “She’s continuing a legacy and making her own mark.”
