SPECIAL TO THE DAILY NEWS
The BHS Class of 1965 once again proved that old friendships only grow stronger with time, as classmates gathered for another fantastic meetup filled with laughter, memories, and heartfelt connections.
Hosted at Maria’s Mexican Restaurant, the gathering brought together a wonderful mix of familiar faces who spent the day catching up, sharing stories, and simply enjoying each other’s company. Attendees included Dera Williams Talley, Marie Cothern Wascom, Betty Bedwell, Susan Pittman, Vicki Brister-Finley, Mary Lou Revere, Allen Lea, Betty Fontenot, Jake Runfalo Sr., Marilyn Larmon, Sharon Crowe, Richard Kellar, George Bateman, Grant McElveen, Mike Armstrong, Tom Pittman, and Jimmy Strain.
As always, the air was filled with laughter and warm camaraderie, a true testament to the lasting bonds formed so many years ago. While the group missed those who couldn’t attend, they remain committed to keeping everyone in the loop and extending open arms to classmates who have yet to reconnect.
Whether you’ve been a regular at recent gatherings or haven’t attended in years, the door is always open. Each meetup is a chance to rekindle old friendships, share new memories, and celebrate the unique connection shared by the BHS Class of 1965.
