SPECIAL TO THE DAILY NEWS

Truth in Nature recently marked a significant milestone with the ribbon cutting ceremony for the grand opening of its new regional facility in Sun, Louisiana. The evening was filled with joy, heartfelt gratitude, and a sense of anticipation for the bright future ahead.

The celebration brought together community members, supporters, and volunteers who have been instrumental in bringing this vision to life. The new facility is already fulfilling its mission, as evidenced by the Bush and Franklinton Chapters holding their very first overnight program in the space. The young men who participated were enthusiastic and inspired, fully embracing the opportunities for mentorship, personal growth, and life-changing experiences that the new space offers.

“This facility will serve our young men for years to come, and we can’t wait to welcome and pour into each one who walks through its doors,” shared a Truth in Nature representative during the event.

The organization expressed its deep appreciation to the many individuals and partners who played a role in making the facility a reality. Special thanks were extended to the Mayor and Town Council of the Village of Sun, the Godbey Giardina Building Hope Foundation, Joey Stewart, Malinda White, the Bear Stewart Memorial Fund, Lombardo Enterprise, Pritchard Electric, Creel Brothers, Will Talley Trucking, Parker Tractor and Land Services, Elite Hardwood Floors, H&R Block of Covington, and the countless individuals whose support fueled this project from concept to completion.

With the doors now officially open, Truth in Nature’s new regional facility stands as a beacon of hope and a powerful tool in the organization’s ongoing mission to mentor and empower young men. The journey continues—but this night marked a proud and promising new chapter.
