Frankie Joyce Thomas Nichols

Mrs. Frankie Joyce Thomas Nichols, 82, of Bogalusa, La., passed away on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

A dedicated wife and homemaker, she was born Tuesday, April 6,1943 in Washington Parish, La.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Archie and Vivian Thomas; brother, Elton Thomas, and grandparents, Ephriam and Meacy Thomas, Frank and Tennie Ramsey.

Mrs. Nichols is survived by her husband of 54 years, Benjamin E. Nichols; four sons, Joseph (Eva Jean) Nichols of Warner Robins, Ga., James (Donna) Nichols of Fairhope, Ala., John (Laura) Nichols of Warner Robins, Ga., Monty (Amanda) Nichols of Daphne, Ala.; siblings, Linda Gayle Walker, Betty Sue Fontenot, Gary Thomas, and, sister-in-law, Violeta Thomas; 12 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be held at Hillview Memorial Gardens, 59302 Spring Valley Road, Bogalusa, LA 70427 on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at 10 a.m. The Rev. Larry Mizell will officiate the service.
