Franklinton Library Celebrates Week Six of Summer Reading with Dazzling Dance, Art, and Community Fun

Franklinton Branch Library completed week six of their Summer Reading Program. The Pandorium Belly Dance Company came, and what a performance they gave! Music, hula dancing, and crowd participation meant fun was had by all. After the performance, everyone worked on the community popsicle stick mural.The library would like to thank all who attended, the Washington Parish Friends of the Library, the Louisiana Office of Cultural Development, National Endowment for the Arts, and the Greater Baton Rouge Arts Council for making programs like this available.They would also like to give a special thank you to Jack Brown’s for providing popsicles.This week the library will be hosting our Summer Reading Graduation Program. It will be at the Franklinton Branch Library at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
