Myrtis Lawrence Wilson, age 67, a resident of Franklinton, passed away Friday, June 5, 2015, at his residence in Franklinton.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, JoAnn Wilson of Franklinton; one son, Lawrence Edward (Peggy) Wilson of New Orleans; three daughters, Amy Wilson of Clifton, Nicole (Joe) Wilson of Kenner and Dashun (Corey) Howard of Haughton, La.; one brother, Abe C. Wilson of Franklinton; four sisters, Bobbie Burris, Zolda Dyson, Nercelia Butler and Hynethia Dadzie, all of Franklinton; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Theodore Wilson Jr; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 11, 2015, from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton.
