Annie Clark

Annie Bell Harry Clark was called home on Thursday, Sept. 4, 2014, at Northshore Specialty Hospital in Covington at the age of 89.
Sis. Annie Clark was a faithful member of Wesley Ray United Methodist Church, where she was a member of The United Methodist Church Women Auxiliary and The Willing Workers and announcing clerk for many years until her health failed.
She was a graduate of Wesley Ray High School and Grambling State University, where she received a B.S. degree in education. She worked in the Washington Parish School System for many years.
She is survived by her husband, Earl Clark Sr. of New Orleans; three children, Earl Clark Jr. of Angie, Denise Clark Smith of Angie and Tommy Kelson Clark of Cape Coral, Fla.; one sister, Ida Mae Green of New Orleans; three sisters-in-law, Debra Harry of Opelousas, La., and Ophelia Scott and Octavia Mcbride of Selma, Ala.; two nephews, Bernard (Doris) Harry of New Orleans and Raymond Harry of Beltsville, Md.; two nieces, Connie Wilson of San Antonio, Texas, and Lula Mae Butler of New Orleans; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-nephews and nieces and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lola Lewis Harry and William Ive Harry, three sisters and one grandson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, at Wesley Ray United Methodist Church in Angie at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Terrance August, pastor, officiating.
Interment will follow in The Jefferson Cemetery in Angie.
