Deloris Sandifer, 65, of Bogalusa, departed this life on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2014, at Canon Hospice in Jefferson, La.

Services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 2014, at Crain and Sons Funeral Home Chapel in Bogalusa, with Pastor Victor Robinson officiating.

Survivors include three daughters, Yolanda (Anthony) Robinson of Bogalusa, Shawntay Sandifer of Bogue Chitto, Miss., and Altovise Sandifer of Covington; a special childhood friend, Rosie Brooks of Massillon, Ohio; a special aunt, Mildred Washington of Mansfield, Ohio; a special friend, Earnestine Peters of Angie; eight grandchildren, Jasmine S., Tyishia K., Teanna C., Tyreek K., and Alexia A. Sandifer, Ja’Leah T., Kiara T. and Anthony Robinson Jr.; four great-grandchildren, Jade and Tykorious Sandifer, Alaycia T. Hammond and Tate J. Franklin; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Thornton; her mother, Eunice Jones; her husband, Therdro D. Sandifer; and special friend, James Peters.
