Dominic Rayshaw Ishman

Dominic Rayshaw Ishman was born in Elizabeth City, N.C. to the late Anita Ishman and Gerald Ishman and departed this life on July 6, 2014, at St. Tammany Hospital in Covington.
Dominic graduated from Bogalusa High School in 2004. He was a member of Salter Chapel A.M.E. Church under the leadership of the Rev. Earl Robinson. He loved his music and phone. Dominic loved his family. He always had a smile on his face.
He leaves to cherish his loving memories of his father, Gerald Ishman of Bogalusa; two sisters, Erica (Eric) Jones of Augusta, Ga., and Treva H. Cobbinah of Seattle, Wash.; three brothers, Gerald Ishman of Augusta, Ga., and Derick and Demetric Ishman of Elizabeth City, N.C.; four uncles, Larry Ishman of Philadelphia, Pa., Michael (Tressa) Ishman, Lloyd (Tonya) Lewis and James Slocum, all of Bogalusa; five aunts, Sandra (J.Y.) Jones, Glorida (Curtis) Hughes, Edna (Darryl) Brown, Darlene Ishman and Annette (Jerry) Perkins; and grandfather Robert Knox of Bogalusa, and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Anita Ishman; one sister, Tabitha Ishman; two cousins, Donnie and Severain Ishman; grandparents Cora and James Ishman and two uncles, Donald and Robert Ishman.
Visitation is 10 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2014, at Salter Chapel A.M.E. Church until 1 p.m. services at the church, with the Rev. Earl Robinson officiating. Intermet will be in Duffy Memorial, Lee’s Creek.
