WILLIAMS
Dorothy Crain Williams, age 89 and a resident of the Pine/Stateline community, passed away early Monday, May 12, 2014, at Riverside Medical Center. She was born June 9, 1924. She was a charter member of Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church. Prior to becoming disabled, Dorothy loved working in her yard and grew many beautiful flowers. She was also an excellent cook, but she especially enjoyed making her sweets. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her family and a friend to all that knew her. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by: daughter and son-in-law Carolyn and Glenn Lang of Harvey; sons and daughters-in-law, Charles and Carolyn Williams and Reggie and Joannie Williams, all of Pine; granddaughter Theresa Williams of Olake Owsego, Ore.; six grandsons and spouses, Jeffery and Vickie Lang, Blake and Suzanne Lang, Eric and Sandra Williams, Lonnie and Tessa Williams, Matt and Skyler Williams and Scott and Crystal Williams; and seven great-grandchildren, Katie Lang, Evelyn Lang, Travis Williams, Seth Williams, Caitlyn Penton, D.J. Penton and Kendal Williams.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Williams, and her parents, Charles Crain and Cola Ard Crain.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday, May 15, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will continue Friday at Forest Haven Missionary Baptist Church from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Eld. Richard Magee, Eld. Clyde Cooper and Eld. Yancy Magee officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be her six grandsons and granddaughter.
