Jeffrey Dyone Levi, 49, who was born on Aug. 24, 1964, was called home Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, in Bogalusa.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving mother, Mary Alice Wilson Levi; five sisters, Felicia (Frank) McGriggs, Karla (Chris) Penton, Mae Ocea (Larry) Brown, Chequita (Brandon) Short and Crystal (Jerrold) Montgomery, all of Bogalusa; seven brothers, Keith (Julia) Levi of Grand Rapids, Mich., Kevin (Kelly) Levi, Sabastion (Deon) Levi, Douglas (Sandra) Levi, Robert (Chandra) Levi, Rafeal (Loren) Wilson and Kendrick (Tessa) Varnado, all of Bogalusa; four aunts, Elizizine (J.D.) Warren of Hackley, Clementine Wilson of Norfolk, Neb., Valerie (Gary) Bridges of Atlanta and Brenda Godbolt of Bogalusa; six uncles, T.C. (Rose) Wilson of Montgomery, Ala., Clayton (Marilyn) Wilson of Bogalusa, Fred Crumedy of Memphis, Tenn. and Tommy Lee Crumedy of Atlanta; a very special friend, Terricka Keys; other special friends, Sara Roberts, Hillary Bell, Angelo Exkino, Willie Cotton, Umeko Rushing and Phillip Allisworth; a very special nephew, Cordaro Levi; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins.
Preceding him in death were his father, Larry Walter Mustache Levi Jr.; maternal grandparents, Alvia Mae and T.C. Wilson and John Crumedy; paternal grandparents, Larry Levi Sr. and Virginia Strippling; a cousin, Timothy Rockhead Wilson; three aunts, Bernice Forrest, Ozzie Lee Williams and Cathy Riley; and one uncle, A.C. Crumedy.
The funeral was held Saturday, Jan. 23 at St. Paul AME Church, with the Rev. R.L. Palmer Jr. officiating. Interment followed in Bogalusa Cemetery.
Cook-Richmond Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
