Russell Rudolph Adams, 79, resident of Isabel, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, at his residence. Mr. Adams was retired from the United States Air Force and was employed at Spencers Feed and Seed in Folsom and also at Bogue Chitto Tubing and Canoeing in Isabel.
Russell is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Lopez and Renee Turnage; his son, Greg (Kerry) Adams; brothers, Elwin (Ann) Adams of Hampton, Va., Elbert Ray Adams of Brewton, Ala., and Hollis A. Adams of Isabel; sisters, Katherine (William) Knight of Isabel, Frances Edwards of Isabel, Olivia (Roy) DiVittorio of Baton Rouge, Barbara (Gary) Phelps of Isabel, and Pat (Howard) Hunt of Isabel; grandchildren, Adrian Lopez, Alexis, Kacie and Jacob Turnage and Kaleigh, Ashlyn, Annabelle and Mason Adams; and a very special niece that was like his daughter, Christy (Danny) Phelps, and their son, Remington.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Stazzie Adams; his father Rudolph Adams; wives Judy Kuch Adams and Kathleen P. Adams; and grandchildren Graycee Adams and Joshua Adams.
Services will be Saturday July 25, 2015, at Poole-Ritchie Funeral Home with visitation starting at 1 p.m. and will stay open until the memorial service at 4 p.m. in the chapel. The Rev. Fredrick Brumfield will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Mary Bird Perkins or the American Cancer Society.
