Mark Kevin Baggett, 58, passed away Monday, Nov. 18, 2013 at his Poplarville, Miss. residence. He was a native of Bogalusa.
Mark was a great father, grandfather, brother, son and friend and had a deep passion for riding motorcycles. He also liked to work on and restore old cars and trucks. He was an avid rider in the Trail of Tears every year.
He is survived by two sons, Michael Baggett of Sun and Coady (Audrey) Baggett of Floowood, Miss.; daughters, Connie Little of Loranger, Jenny (Shane) Bennett Bogalusa and Jennifer (Bill) Pettus and Lauren Baggett of Pearl, Miss.; his father, J L Baggett Jr. (Avis) of Poplarville; a stepbrother, Robert Earl (Betty Joe) Baggett of Sumrall, Miss.; sisters, Melody Pounds (Alfred Holden) of Poplarville and Robin Bowman of Bogalusa; eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jenny Baggett; grandparents, Walker B. Smith and Margarite McDaniel and Joe and Thelma Varnado; and great-grandparents, Felton and Ida Tyner.
Visitation will be held Thursday, Nov. 21 in the chapel of Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. and will continue Friday, from 8 a.m. until time for services in the chapel at 11 a.m. Rev. Robert Bob Lee and Rev. Leo Burge will officiate. Burial will be in Ponemah Cemetery.
