Donna and Frank Berkley of the Isabel community and Michael and Shay Emelio of McNeill, Miss., announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Ashley Nicole Emelio, to William Brandon Manning, son of Chad and Terri Manning of Franklinton.

Miss Emelio is a 2006 graduate of Fontainebleau High School and is currently pursuing a degree in accounting from the University of Phoenix. She is employed as house manager of Franklinton’s Grill. She is the granddaughter of Fred and Nona Emelio of Picayune, Miss., and Jerry and Jackie Gaude’ of Franklinton.

Manning is a 2001 graduate of Franklinton High School and a 2006 graduate of Louisiana Tech University. He is employed as a corporal with Franklinton Police Department. He is the grandson of Buddy and Florence Manning of Franklinton and Melvin and Clara Adams of Isabel, and the late Richard McNeese.

The couple will exchange vows on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2013, at 5 p.m. at the home of the groom’s parents with a reception to follow at Franklinton Skeet Club.
