Arrest made in ‘car wash killing’

Two arrests have been made in the Feb. 18 murder of Cedric Fairly, who was found bleeding from a bullet wound to the head at the Mr. Quik Wash on Sullivan Drive at E. Fourth Street.
This afternoon Bogalusa Police arrested James Spikes, 56, and charged him with first-degree murder. Spikes was already in the Washington Parish Jail on unrelated charges.
Earlier this week police arrested Parrish Thompson, 20, and charged him with accessory after the fact to first-degree murder and obstruction of justice.
