Prud’homme graduates magna cum laude from Texas high school

Joseph Lynn Prud’homme III, son of Joe and Amanda Prud’homme of Fort Worth, Texas, was recently graduated magna cum laude from Nolan Catholic High School. He is the grandson of Bill and Margaret Ryals of Bogalusa.
Prud’homme was a member of the TAPPS 1-5A NCHS State Championship Football Team in 2009, 2011 and 2012, where he served as captain of the team his junior and senior years. He was selected for the 2012 Tom Hillary Private School All Star Classic Team, in which he received the offensive MVP award, and also selected by the entire coaching staff at NCHS to receive the Don Thompson Award, which is the most prestigious athletic award the school presents to an athlete.
In addition, he was the recipient of the Chaminade Award, an award chosen by faculty for the senior boy who most represents NCHS, the graduate profile and the characteristics of Marianist education.
Prud’homme will be attending Kansas State University in the fall on an academic and leadership scholarship, majoring in wildlife and outdoor enterprise management.
