The 2013 Franklinton High School Baseball Tournament continues today with four games on tap.

Yesterday’s action occurred after press time and took place at three sites, including Franklinton, Pine and Amite.

The eight team event has four games set for today, two each at FHS and Pine.

Over at Franklinton, Loranger faces Hammond at 3:30 p.m., followed by the host school against Ponchatoula.

The opener at Pine has Jewel Sumner battling Varnado, followed by Amite and Pine.

Baseball goes on throughout the day tomorrow with three contests at Franklinton and another at Pine.

The tripleheader at Franklinton starts at 10 a.m. with Amite squaring off against Varnado. Loranger takes on Ponchatoula in a 1 p.m. start before Franklinton and Sumner wrap things up at 4.

Pine is hosting Hammond at 11 a.m.
