PARKER

Julia Mae Parker, 83, a resident of Bogalusa, passed away Monday, April 15, 2013, at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center.

She is survived by two sons, David (Elizabeth) Hall of Bogalusa and Tommy (Barbara) Hall of Franklinton; two daughters, Margaret Palmer Cassady of Andalusia, Ala., and Dianne Miller of Bogalusa; 12 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas A. Hall, and her second husband, Woodrow Parker; a son, Johnny Wayne Hall; her parents, Walter and Myrtis Johnson; two brothers, Julius Walter Johnson and James Earl Rester; and a sister, Vera Hartfield.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 17 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-10 p.m. and will continue on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Ponemah Cemetery.
