The City Council District E cleanup started up on Friday, when a small group of community-minded volunteers grabbed trash bags and picked up discarded plastic bottles, paper and other debris. A bigger push was planned for the following day when school students and people who couldn’t get off work on Friday were expected to join the movement to make the district shine.
