DILLON

Audrey Faye Dillon, 63, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013, at her residence in Carriere, Miss.

Born Nov. 26, 1949, she was a native of Bogalusa.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Ray Dillon of Carriere; one son, Billy Earl Thomas Jr.; four stepdaughters, Rennota Thomas of Mississippi, Karen McMichael of Bogalusa, Penny Held of Slidell and Pamela Maag of Harahan; a sister, Rita M. Wheat of Bogalusa; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three nieces, Neomi (Rickey) Hoyt, Summer Ann Wheat and Rebecca Wheat; one nephew, Shannon Jones; and a sister-in-law, Brenda Wheat. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Albert and Hilda Louise Wheat; four brothers, Roland Thomas Wheat, Ray Allen Wheat, Gerald Dennis “Bit’s” Wheat and Stanley Harold Wheat; a sister, Betty Gail Penton; and a niece, Renee Aline Wheat.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 16 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. Visitation will resume on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time for the funeral service at 2 p.m., with Rev. Charles Ray Creel officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
