Margie Norman Simm

Margie Norman Simm, 87, passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 25, 2013, at Maison de Lafayette in Lafayette. She was a native of New Orleans but lived most of her life in Bogalusa. She was a lifelong member of Annunciation Catholic Church and devoted her life to prayer, praying the rosary and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her three sons, William Simm Jr. and his wife, Sharon, of Thibodaux, Adrian Michael Simm Sr., D.D.S., and his wife, Paula, of Lafayette and James Simm and his wife, Jackie, of Baton Rouge; five grandchildren, Gretchen Simm, Jonathan Simm, Adrian Simm Jr., Alex Simm and Andrew Simm; and one brother, Argie Norman of Shreveport.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Carl Simm Sr.; her parents, Thomas and Julia Ponthier Norman; and one sister, Rita Ducote.
