HENRY

Fayetta Henry, 75, departed this life Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013, at LSU Bogalusa Medical Center. Born Jan. 19, 1938, she was a native and resident of Bogalusa.

Fayetta attended Sullivan Technical College, where she earned a degree in nursing. She worked as a nurse at Resthaven Living Center until she became ill. Ms. Fay as she was affectionately known, was loved by so many people, and she leaves behind so many good memories! How sweet it will be to have a wonderful reunion with her in paradise.

She is survived by four children, Yolander Taylor (Phillip), Wesley Donnell Magee, Michael Ramsey and Ed (Beren) Lee, all of Bogalusa; three sisters, Verna Williams of Oakland, Calif., Mildred Smith of Bogalusa and Kathlyn Bernice Ellis of Las Vegas; one stepbrother, Day Whittine; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Corine Lee; her husband, Eddie Henry; two brothers, J. D. and Alton Ray Lee; three sisters, Modean Brown, Edrine Brown and Ruby Washington; one daughter, Kathlyn Lynch; and one son, Caleb Wade Huff.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 1017 City Limits Road in Bogalusa, with Carlos Gibson Officiating. Interment will follow in Bogalusa Cemetery.
