The thin horses that have prompted public concern and a feature story in the Sunday News are not located at 59118 Mt. Pleasant Road, which is the residence of Washington Parish Sheriff’s Deputy Timmy Stewart.

Stewart’s horses and dogs reportedly “eat better” than the humans in residence.

The featured horses are on a property a little further down the road from Ben’s Ford Christian School.
