Hardy Thomas, 58, a resident of the Pearl River Swamp born Jan. 14, 1954 in Tylertown, Miss., passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence.

He is survived by two daughters, Evelyn Thomas of Varnado and Samantha Walding of Alexandria; two sons, Heath (Angie) Thomas of Pine and Justin Thomas of Angie; eight grandchildren, Kaelyn Hunt, Braedan Arceneaux, Anna Arceneaux, Andrew Thomas, Alyssa Thomas, Elizabeth McMillan, Colby Applewhite and Saylor Kozielski; a sister, Brenda Hartzog of Angie; and two brothers, Ben Thomas of Thibodaux and Donnie Ray Thomas of Pine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruffin Ray Thomas and Kathleen Marie Martin Thomas.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 14 at the L & L Meeting Shed Camp at 4 p.m.
