Wanda Hodge

Wanda Faye Hodge, born Feb. 19, 1941, went home to be with The Lord on Aug. 10, 2015. She was a long time resident of Bogalusa. She was of the Baptist Faith.                                                                                            

She is survived by two sons, Jimmy Garza and his wife Melissa of Pride, La., and Randy Garza of Bogalusa; two daughters, Elaina Faye Dixon and her husband Clayton and Melinda Matran, both of Bogalusa; a brother, Mike Dunaway of Bogalusa; her grandchildren, Alexis Dixon, Michael Dixon, Danielle Pierce, Matthew Guillory, Heather McLemore, Christopher Garza, Patrick Garza, Jonathon Garza, Thomas Garza, Randy Garza, Wendy Knight, Ashley Knight and Amanda Knight; three great-grandchildren, Avery Faye Swindle and Kenzie and Steven McLemore; and other family members and friends.                                                                                                                                  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Avery and Mattie Lee Hodge; a son, Bruce Wayne Dixon; two brothers, Bob Hodge and James Irvine Hodge; and a sister, Brenda Paige.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15, 2015, at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home beginning at 11 a.m. until religious services at 3 p.m. Services will be conducted by Bishop Zorronn Sartin.
