The official 2015 Washington Parish Fair T-shirt, designed by Taffenie Corkern Mizell, is now available for purchase.

Area schools have once again been given the opportunity to sell the popular shirts for a limited time, and will receive a portion of their sales. Please contact your child’s school for further information.

A pre-sale of the fair T-shirt will be held in Bogalusa on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the parking lot of Tractor Supply Company on Superior Avenue. The shirt will also be sold at the fairgrounds in Franklinton, on Saturday, Sept. 12, and Saturday, Oct. 3, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. each day.

Prices for the pre-sale are: children’s small to adult 2XL — $11, adult 3XL and 4XL — $13. During the fair, the prices will be: children’s small to adult 2XL — $16, adult 3XL and 4XL — $18. Caps ($12) and canvas bags ($8) will also be available during the fair.

In keeping with the fair’s designation of Friday, Oct. 23, as “Cancer Awareness Day,” pink t-shirts, caps and visors will also be available on the fairgrounds that day.
