Devon Lee, 68, of Bogalusa, departed this life Thursday, Aug. 27, 2015, at Franklin County Memorial Hospital in Meadville, Miss.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Sept. 5, at Greater Bogalusa Full Gospel Baptist Church, located at 814 Union Ave., from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with pastor Jerry Newton officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bogalusa Cemetery.
Devon joined church at Greater Bogalusa Full Gospel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Jerry L. Newton.
He is survived by two sisters, Janice Lee of Bogalusa and Beris (Willie) McCray of Bogalusa; one brother, Thomas (Constance) Brown of Connecticut; special cousins, Zebbie Washington and William Johnson of Bogalusa; special friends, Shonie Peters and A.V. Pittman of Bogalusa; two special nieces, Shannon McKelphin and Shereeta Dillon of Bogalusa; and a host of other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edrean Lee Brown; stepfather, Thomas Brown Sr.; brother, Frederick Elliot Brown; nephews, Callianthia McKelphin and Willie McCray Jr.; aunts, Modean Brown, Fayetta Henry and Ruby Washington; and grandparents, Ed and Corine Lee.
