Vincent James Cefalu, 78, born on Dec. 28, 1936, in Bogalusa, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, at Our Lady Of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

He is survived by one daughter, Shelia Cefalu Nelson; one son, Nicholas (Adrianna) Atkinson; six sisters, Theresa Busby, Rose Allison, Sarah Paul, Josie Thomas, Antoinette Warner and Camille Seabolt; and two brothers, Joe Cefalu and Charles T. Cefalu, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. Cefalu Sr. and Mary Giordano Cefalu; one sister, Mary Jo Seal; and one brother, Roy A. Cefalu.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 517 Ave. B in Bogalusa, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral Mass services will be held at 11 a.m. with the Rev.

Father Daniel Brouillette officiating. Interment will follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
