Vincent James Cefalu, 78, born on Dec 28, 1936 in Bogalusa passed away on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at Our Lady Of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge.

He served on the United States Navy Reserve.

He is survived by one daughter, Shelia Cefalu Nelson; two grandchildren, Nicholas Atkinson and Adrianna Atkinson; six sisters, Theresa Busby, Rose Allison, Sarah Paul, Josie Thomas, Antoinette Warner and Camille Seabolt; two brothers, Joe Cefalu and Charles T. Cefalu, Jr.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles T. Cefalu, Sr. and Mary Giordano Cefalu; one sister, Mary Jo Seal; one brother, Roy A. Cefalu.

Visitation was held on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 517 Avenue B, Bogalusa, 70427 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. The Funeral Mass Services will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Father Daniel Brouillette officiating. Interment to follow at Ponemah Cemetery.
