Elizabeth Elaine Duncan Richardson, 70, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015 at her residence in Crossroads, Miss.
She was born on Oct. 27, 1945 in Tomnolen, Miss. She was a member of the Bogalusa Civic League and a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by a daughter, Amy (Todd) Wells of Crossroads; a son, Brian (Dawn) Dobson of Purvis, Miss.; two sisters, Jo Alice Stafford of Memphis, Tenn., and Rebecca Almond of Appomattox, Va.; a brother, Donald Howard Duncan Sr. of Tomnolen; grandchildren, Heather Rayburn, Bradley Dobson, Hailey Dobson, Parker Wells and Landon Wells; great-grandchildren, Mason Rayburn and Allie Rayburn; a special son, Derrick Preston, and special son and daughter Jack and Gwen Fussell; her Tu-Tu Sisters, Brenda Magee, Sue Parsonnet, Patricia Branch, Peggy King, Billie Smith, Sandra McClendon, Linda Ogle and Glenda Watts; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and many special friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Deltra Dewitt Richardson; her parents, Joseph Noel Duncan and Alice Aline Mitchell Duncan; her brothers, Larry Keith Duncan and Benny Duncan; and a Tu-Tu sister, Derlean Farmer.
Visitation was held Thursday, Nov. 19, at Memorial Baptist Church, 1509 S. Columbia St., in Bogalusa, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Visitation will continue on Friday, Nov. 20, at Memorial Baptist Church, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. The funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Larry Mizell and the Rev. Billy Kent Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of Peace in Ponemah Cemetery.
Active pallbearers will be John Kimball, Bob Purvis, Jewell Brumfield, Richard Ray, Bruce Davis and Mickey Ray.
