Gregory Dewayne Brown, 52, of Bogalusa, departed this life Dec. 2, 2015, at his residence.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Chalmette Brown of Bogalusa; three daughters, Gregoriona Brown and Lakeithea Brown of Bogalusa, and Mercedes Lewis of Shreveport; three sons, Gregory Brown Jr. and Trenton Brown of Bogalusa, and Gregory Callahan of New York; six brothers, Daryl (Edna) Brown, Gregory (Willie Mae) Boudouin, Boris (Amy) Brown, Timothy (Erica) Brown, Patrick (Terea Levi) Brown and Javous Brown, all of Bogalusa; four sisters, Patrini Brown, Monique (Tyshon) Morris, Barbara Magee and Sirmadra Pittman, all of Bogalusa; two brothers-in-law, Jeremy Davis and Freddy Anderson of Bogalusa; his mother-in-law, Mamie Ginn of Bogalusa; and two special friends, Keith Holmes and James Warner, of Bogalusa; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Nathaniel W. Brown; his mother, Lucille Collins Brown; his brother, Lakeith Brown; his grandmother, Emma “Madea” Collins; and his great-grandmother, Canary Neil McFarland.

The funeral service will be held Saturday, Dec. 12, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa, with the Rev. Darryl Self officiating.

Interment will be in the Bogalusa Cemetery.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home of Bogalusa is in charge of arrangements.
