Eugene Smith Sr., 66, of Angie, departed this life on Jan. 26, 2016, at the Riverside Medical Center in Franklinton.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons, Eugene Smith Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., and Reginald T. Smith of Angie; two daughters, Regina Smith of Kentucky and Tiffany A. Smith of Angie; one brother, Walter L. (Ossie P.) Smith of Angie; one sister, Rose Smith of Angie; four grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. (Mary) Smith and his wife, Annie Louise Peters Smith.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, Feb. 3, at the chapel of Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Bogalusa, from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m.

The funeral service will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, at 11 a.m. at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Angie, with the Rev. Sidney Brown Jr., pastor, officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dillon Cemetery in Angie.
