She leaves to mourn her passing: 11 children, Rev. Lawrence Milton Hart (Gwendolyn), Carolyn Hart, Betty Hart-Callahan, Marilyn Hart-Magee (Rev. Larry Magee), Sandra Hart-Manning (J. D.), Sheral Hart-George (Donald), and Rev. Douglas Hart (Bronis), Lewis Hart, Eisha Hart, Cameron Hart and Barco Hart. Mrs. Hart dearly loved children. In addition to raising seven children of their own, she and Mr. Hart adopted four more. Their home also served as emergency placement for other foster children in critical need of interim residency until they could be united with a family.
Mrs. Hart was a devout Christian who led by example, demonstrating both strong faith and a strong prayer life. She influenced all of her children to develop a personal relationship with God at a very young age. She was an active and dedicated member of the Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church until her health permitted her from serving further.
Visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 26, from 2 p.m. until 6 p.m., with a family hour from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Saturday, Feb. 27, at 1 p.m. at Greater Hayes Creek Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerome Warren, pastor, officiating, and the Rev. Douglas Hart, eulogist.
