Carolyn Nickolaus, 37, passed away Feb. 23, 2016, at her residence in Bogalusa.

She was president of American Legion Unit #24 Ladies Auxiliary for the last eight years.

She is survived by: aunts, Cheryl Roper of Metairie and Cynthia Logan of Apopka; one uncle, Kenning Aultman of Harahan; grandparents, Dorothy Aultman of Harahan and Roy Aultman of Picayune, Miss.

Her wishes were to be cremated, and memorial service will be at a later date.
