Branda Sue Toney Miller, 61, a resident of Baton Rouge, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday March 7, 2016, at Our Lady of the Lake Medical Center.

She loved attending the Healing Place Church and was an avid LSU fan. Brenda was a patient care associate with the Baton Rouge Urology Clinic where she shared a very special relationship with her wonderful co-workers.

Even throughout her lengthy battle with cancer, Brenda’s sweet spirit and infectious smile positively affected each and every person she met or patient she helped. She adored her loving family and cherished the time spent with her grandchildren.

She is survived by: her husband, Wayne Miller of Baton Rouge; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremy and Jennifer Miller of McKinney, Texas, Nathan and Erin Miller of Franklinton, and Philip and Julie Miller of Katy, Texas; four grandchildren, Harrison Miller, Carson Miller, Mallory Miller and Blake Kimbell; her sister, Judy Toney Dale of Franklinton; a brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Terry Toney of Mt. Hermon; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy Ray Toney and Doris Strahan Toney.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home, located at 1109 Bene St. in Franklinton, on Thursday, March 10, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home chapel with Dr. Gene Richards and Dr. Waylon Bailey officiating.

Burial will follow in the San Pedro Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery near Franklinton.
