The University of Louisiana at Lafayette has a chance for another Women’s Basketball Invitational Title.

The Ragin’ Cajuns defeated Youngstown State, 69-49, Wednesday night.

One of the players for the Ragin’ Cajuns is 2013 Bogalusa High School graduate Gabby Alexander.

She was part of last season’s title as well.

In Wednesday’s victory, Alexander played four minutes and pulled down two rebounds.

The win was the 24th this season for the Ragin’ Cajuns, one shy of tying the program’s record. The team is 24-10 this season.

Louisiana goes for its second consecutive WBI title Saturday against No. 7 Weber State. The game takes place at 4 p.m. in the Earl K. Long Gymnasium.

Good luck to Alexander and the rest of the Ragin’ Cajuns.
