Mt. Hermon suffered a 12-6 loss and an 8-6 loss to Kentwood in Wednesday’s games at home.

In the 12-6 contest, Mt. Hermon’s D.J. Elzey posted three hits, an RBI and two runs scored.

Preston Knight recorded two hits and three runs batted in.

Clinton Roux and Dylan Clark posted a hit each. Roux scored a run while Clark drove one in. Kamron Brumfield tallied twice for Mt. Hermon.

In the 8-6 setback, Mt. Hermon was limited to just three hits — one each by Roux, Knight and Remington Bankston. Roux drove in a run while Bankston had an RBI and a run scored and Knight posted two RBIs and a run scored.

Elzey and Clark and Trey Roberts each scored a run.
