Demons score 2 runs in 4 different innings in win

Franklinton’s Demons scored two runs each in four different innings and defeated Salmen, 8-3, in District 8-4A competition at home Tuesday.
The Demons scored two runs in the first, third, fifth and sixth innings while Salmen tallied twice in the fourth and once during the fifth.
Mack McElveen was outstanding once again with another complete game. He allowed no earned runs on just one hit with eight strikeouts and a walk.
It was McElveen’s third-straight complete game.
At the plate, he singled, doubled and drove in three.
Wyatt Verret singled twice, scored two runs and drove in a run.
Jamarian Crain posted two singles and tallied twice.
C.J. Estave went 2-for-2 with an RBI and two walks for the Demons.
Collin Dominguez and Tanner Sanburn each had a single and an RBI.
Courtesy runner Austin Miller recorded two runs while Jared Jenkins posted one.
The Demons are 10-8 overall and 3-2 in district.
